Back to being motivated

This week marked my first week back at uni for my FINAL year! (Cheering!!)

I also find that when I get back Wagga for uni I always get that little bit more motivated to kick start my fitness regime. In my sleepy home-town there are limited fitness classes and the gym is pretty dismal so it is SO refreshing being able to attend several fitness classes a week which makes me feel strong, confident and motivated to continue to get in shape!

Currently I am doing classes five times a week. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays I do 'fit-ball' classes  and Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays I do 'Pilates'.

I had never taken a proper fitness class in either of these classes before this week and I am really loving it!

What is even better is that I found a gym that is running a two month promotion where I paid $20 for twenty classes!!!! THAT IS SO CHEAP! (Since each class usually costs around $10 per session!) I have two months to use up the twenty classes, but at this rate it wont take me long to get through them!

My muscles are sore and tight but it feels good knowing they are working!

I love feeling fit and healthy again, and I am hoping this boost of motivation sticks around for a while if not forever!!!!

Luxe Leather

As much as I love the warmth of summer time, I have to admit, being on the cusp of a new, chilly season is also exciting. The new fashion and accessories are already starting to emerge and I am loving some of the new season trends including the injection of leather into a lot of my favourite brands Autumn/Winter ranges.

These luxe leather pieces are new season Kookai from their 'Colour of Night' collection. Just gorgeous. How on trend is the leather Polo cap? Sporty chic? Tick!

"Spice Up Your Life" one more time?

I have just read online that the Spice Girls may be touring Australia in 2014!

According to The Australian, this morning on the Kyle and Jackie-O radio show on 2DayFM Jackie-O reported that she had heard from a very, very reliable source that the girls would be touring our shores in 2014.

** Cue excited school girl screams!! **

There has been nothing reported 'officially' from the girls or their reps so at this stage it is only speculation but I am already crossing my fingers and toes that this time 'round the girls will pull through!

I would pay all the money in the world (...OK, maybe all the money in my small savings account) to get a ticket to see the 'Girl Power' routine from the girls again. I am a HUGE fan from way back and would love nothing more than to get my school-girlfriends back together to sing a long to our favourite Spice Girl pop songs of the 90's!

Despite all of the 'dramas' they've had as a girl-band, I hope they put their 'happy' heels on and do us Aussie fans proud! Viva Forever!!!

Oscars Hype!

Because yesterday was Monday and I was stuck at work, I have unfortunately not been able to watch the Oscars pan out on TV ! * sad face *

Have any of you been watching?

I had a quick flick and peek at some of the fashion from the day in my lunch break but missed all of the real action. (I'm sure our subscription to Foxtel/Austar will pay off as the re-runs on the E! Channel will be massive an repetitive I'm sure!)

I have managed to have a glance online at the fashion (what girl doesn't do this?) and I've picked my favourites! The leading lady that takes the cake in my books is definitely Jessica Chastain (from the new film Zero Dark Thirty).

Stunning!! From her porcelain skin, the red lip to the beautiful gown, she ticks all the fashion boxes in my books!

Coming a close second of course is one of my favourite up and coming actors, Jennifer Lawrence (known from the Hunger Games and the winner of the Oscar for her role as the leading lady in Silver Linings Playbook which is a movie that I was sadly disappointed in. I didn't really get it and wasn't that keen on it, but I love Jennifer as an actor either way!)

She looked the bomb-dot-com!

That gown was gorg!! And its funny, there seemed to be a lot of gowns in this 'blush', pale colour palette. Maybe this is a sign of what to expect next season? I love these pale colours, even the pale actors managed to pull them off and this colour is notorious for washing people out so kudos to those ladies!

I have to say, there were a lot of gorgeous looks this year! Naomi Watts looked amaze, but I was sad to hear none of the nominated Aussies picked up awards! Especially Hugh Jackman, I mean hello, he is a superstar! Better luck next year Aus!!

A little motivation...

Lately I have been in a bit of a "stressy" rut with lots of things happening all at the same time in my life currently.

I like to try and look at the positives in life and often find that this quote is always one that makes sense! I made this poster for another little project that I am working on and wanted to share some positive energy with you all!!
